Upcoming Workshop: eID Tags

With the first stage of mandatory electronic identification devices (eID) for sheep set to begin in January 2025, now is the time to learn more about the tags and how they can be used to your benefit. As part of this, we have organised an eID tag workshop with Sally Martin from SheepMetriX and Will Fergusson from Grindstone Bay Pastoral on 21 August 2024.

Sally Martin has extensive experience with eID tags and systems, and established her business SheepMetrix in 2011. Based out of Young NSW, the SheepMetriX team currently services sheep and goat producers across Australia and internationally, with a focus on assisting clients capture and utilise data to make informed decisions.

The workshop also includes a visit to East Coast Primary Producer vice president Will Fergusson’s property to see the hardware in action.

Here is the registration link if you haven't signed up for the workshop. You can also contact us if you want more details by emailing eastcoastprimaryproducers@gmail.com.
